    Dave Horstmann just celebrated 10 years of long term recovery and found purpose in life through service to our recovery community. He has served on the Board of Directors of Oxford House and currently serves as the Board President for RecoveryATX. He is a Project Manager in construction by profession. Some of his passions include camping, traveling, star wars, food, and live music. He is always seeking exciting ways to bring these passions together with his recovery experience!

    As someone who has walked their own journey through mental health and addiction battles as a musician, Jason Amato has spent the last 7 years being an active participant in both the music industry as well as the mental health and SUD field here in Austin. Jason has honed his skills as a mental health professional while still nurturing his love for music and creativity in all forms. Music and Creativity make Austin stand proud and Jason's aim is to be a contributing member of a community that works together to provide this amazing city with the resources it needs to continue to create.

    Passionate about all things creative, Cynthia is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and visual artist whose connection to music began in childhood, growing up in a home filled with instruments and inspiration. She loves bringing her vision and energy to building spaces that celebrate music, recovery, and community. By day, she contributes to Apple Maps and teaches private music lessons, and by night she pours her energy into writing, performing, and curating authentic experiences through art and sound. When she’s not creating, you can find her traveling with her husband Dave and their dog Fawkes, always seeking connection, culture, and new experiences.

    Skye Hilton brings a unique blend of creativity and purpose to sober events. As the founder of New Obsession, her mission is to help individuals in recovery from substance use disorder reconnect with their artistic passions and reclaim their lives through creative exploration and self-expression.

    Skye began curating live music and gallery events in 2016 as she completed her BFA in illustration at Pratt Institute. She has a deep understanding of visual storytelling and event aesthetics, with the goal to bridge the gap between art, music, and recovery, fostering spaces where creativity thrives in a substance-free environment.

    Whether through visual design, recovery coaching, or event curation, her passion lies in creating meaningful experiences that celebrate both artistic expression and community.

  • Ally Hogan

    Chief Marketing Officer

    Ally Fleming Hogan is a lover of culture and creativity and comes to “Recovery Takeover” with a diverse professional background spanning from working in the entertainment industry to the mental health field. No matter the setting, Ally finds the greatest fulfillment in building meaningful connections and helping others, both personally and professionally.

    When she’s not diving into her latest obsession, Ally enjoys spending time with her husband Conor and their Great Dane, Lemon, tending to her garden, or daydreaming about clothes.
