Glad You Made It (GUMI) is born from a desire to create spaces where people practicing RECOVERY—and anyone seeking deeper connection—can experience music, art, and community. What began as an annual event called Recovery Takeover evolved into a full movement: a commitment to building a culture centered around connection, not consumption.

Today, GUMI produces events that revive the joy of going out—where the music is live, the presence is real, and the vibe is rooted in community. Every event raises funds for recovery and mental health nonprofits, turning good energy into lasting support.

We’re here to celebrate life in full color—and we’re glad you made it.

SOBER SESSIONS FEAT. ANTHONY GREEN, NOLO AND DANNY MALONE

October 17

Sober Sessions is a recurring live music event that showcases and supports an environment for those seeking recovery from both substance use and mental health. Over the years, it has been a consistent place for people to come together and experience the power of live music without the pressure of alcohol or other substances.

This Fall, in collaboration with the producers of Recovery Takeover and their new non-profit Glad You Made It (GUMI), we’re making history with our biggest Sober Sessions yet, taking over The Far Out Lounge in Austin, Texas. Join us for an unforgettable night of music, connection, and headlining acts—proof that the best highs come from the stage, not the substance.
